Berto started his barbering journey early, enrolling in the Barber Program at TCHS while still in high school. After graduating, he followed his passion by joining Old Town Barber Co. in 2023, training under the experienced barbers and earning his barber license with the guidance of Jesse and TJ.

As the youngest barber in the shop, Berto brings a fresh perspective and stays on top of the latest trends and styles, making him a go-to choice for fades, tapers, and modern cuts that the younger crowd loves. He’s also great with kids and teens, connecting with them through his love of anime and video games. If you’re into gaming, chances are you and Berto will have plenty to talk about while you’re in the chair.

In the shop, Berto is known for his laid-back personality, good-natured banter, and the friendly teasing he gets from his fellow barbers. He’s always eager to learn from his clients and coworkers, picking up not just barbering skills but life experiences along the way.

Outside the Shop

When he’s not cutting hair, Berto is all about cars—especially tricked-out Hondas. He loves classic Puerto Rican food (especially his mom’s cooking), basketball, and listening to hip-hop and reggaeton. And when it’s time to unwind, nothing beats a good nap with his pitbull, Marvel.
